About the Artists

Tom Cochrane

With a career spanning nearly 50 years, Tom Cochrane is a celebrated artist from Lynn Lake, Manitoba. Starting as a folk singer/songwriter in Toronto's Yorkville scene in the early '70s, he joined Red Rider in 1978. Together, they released nine albums featuring hits like "Lunatic Fringe," "Victory Day," "Human Race," and "Big League." Tom’s solo career took off with the release of "Life Is A Highway" from the album Mad Mad World, which sold over one million copies in Canada and six million worldwide, earning him Diamond Status in Canada and a Grammy nomination in the U.S.

Matt Andersen, a blues guitarist and singer-songwriter from Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, began his musical journey in 2002 with the band Flat Top. Known for his powerful voice and heartfelt compositions, Matt’s music blends roots, blues, country, rock, and gospel. Whether performing solo or collaborating with other artists, he continues to captivate audiences with his soulful and authentic performances.
